Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3: Ultimate Edition Details
It seems the wait for the PS3 version of Red Alert 3 is could be well worth it. David Seeholzer, the Senior Development Director for Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3: Ultimate Edition, has written a blog post you can read here. In it, he goes into detail about how Red Alert 3 for the PS3 will include lots of extra content not included in the PC and Xbox 360 versions. The developers have added developer strategy videos, the full soundtrack, 5 new skirmish maps, Behind the Scenes, Bloopers and Outtakes, and David’s personal favorite; The Women of RA3 featurette.
EA is working on a demo that should be released in a couple of weeks, hopefully before the full game releases. Gamers can also expect DLC for Red Alert 3 by the end of the month. The first DLC will includes 3 skirmish maps for online and offline play.
While Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 was a bit of a letdown for the PC and Xbox 360, maybe this extra time developing the PS3 version will pay off. Command & Conquer Red Alert 3: Ultimate Edition
