Stephen Totilo’s hands on with a Kudo game developed in 10 minutes
Stephen Totilo asked a Kodu developer to make him a game using an idea he gave him and in 10 minutes the developer had a working build implementing Stephen’s idea. Although Kodu is being developed mainly for children, gamers should give the demo a shot when it releases later this Spring on Xbox 360.
Eurogamer writes about why OnLive can’t possibly work
The Eurogamer article brings up interesting points, especially when it comes to video compression and lag. Also worth noting is the fact that OnLive will only be available in the U.S. initially. Currently no one knows how the technology will fair under real world conditions. Even if OnLive doesn’t become mainstream, it’s still a monumental achievement technologically. OnLive will be released Winter 2009.
